RE: [-empyre-] (forwarded from Jaka Zeleznikar) Ana Maria Uribe
Thanks Tim and Anna,
Yes, Tim, archiving Ana Maria's work in the Goldsen Archive, that would be
terrific. And, Anna, your post reminds me that Ana Maria would undoubtedly
have a large personal collection of visual poetry/mail art and other
publications. There is the question of how to proceed with this. Also, I
have no desire to keep Ana Maria's digital work on my site alone, if others
are interested in publishing her work on their sites also. I am hoping to
create quite a comprehensive site, as I've mentioned, on vispo.com of her
work, writing about it, and so on, and this will grow over time, but
currently her site at http://vispo.com/uribe is 10Mb, so it is mobile.
As I mentioned, I have started a list at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/uribe
concerned with Ana Maria's work. The month of March is drawing to a close,
so we soon will be obliged to take the discussion off list, and this new
list I've created will hopefully help us considerably in gathering and
disseminating Ana Maria's work.
Also, I had not noted http://www.vispo.com/uribe/romanian2/romanian.html ,
which contains three poems of Ana Maria translated into Romanian by Adrian
Lesenciuc.
